We are based in Shawbirch, Telford and are both highly experienced tutors of tutoring students of Maths and English, at all levels – Primary, KS3 and GCSE level.
We are especially experienced teaching GCSE Maths and GSCE English Language and Literature in Home-schooling tuition.
We are able to teach this both with face-to-face lessons or Online, in all areas of Telford, including Shawbirch, Admaston, Apley, Bratton, Dothill, Wellington, Newport, Priorslee , Muxton and Oakengates), as well as Bayston Hill and Shrewsbury.
Our Home-schooling Tuition experience:
We have taught a large number of Home-schooling students over the past 24 years.
We have taught many of these students with Full National Curriculum provision (ie the students were not even studying a particular Home-schooling course), with a high success rate of students, achieving improved grades. This has been especially the case at GCSE level, with many students passing their GCSE Maths and English exams with good grades.
In addition to this, we can recommend to clients all the best National Curriculum Resources to buy for your child.
Furthermore, we are experienced with providing additional tuition to students who are following an actual Home-schooling course (please see our advice below for good quality Home-schooling programmes at the bottom of the page).
We both teach our students the key topics and techniques of the GCSE Maths and English National Curriculum, as well as providing weekly homework for each of the students (based on practising the skills taught in the previous week’s lessons). This is then marked and reviewed with the student in the following week’s lessons.
We also give regular feedback to the parents of how their child is progressing, and advice on what extra work the child can do outside the lesson time.
