Masters Degree in Psychology, TEFL Certificate, Montessori Teaching Post-Diploma.
Profile:
Miranda grew up in London where she attended the academically renowned North London Collegiate School. There she studied Maths and Science to A-level, before going on to obtain a 1st class degree and Masters in psychology. She is a trained Montessori teacher and has worked in a traditional Montessori school (OFSTED-rated ‘Outstanding’), as well as a Hampstead pre-prep school with a strong focus on preparing children for competitive assessments. She has also worked for private families all over the world, including as governess to the royal family of Qatar.
She now tutors full-time, covering the Early Years and Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 curricula and assisting with preparation for 4+, 7+, 11+ and 13+ assessments in English, Maths, Science, French, Latin and Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning. She has a particular interest in helping those who are struggling with and/or fearful of maths.
